Welcome to MEPCO Bill Check. This site exists for one reason to make MEPCO bill information easy to find without having to dig through confusing official pages. By using it you are agreeing to what is written below.
What This Site Is
MEPCO Bill Check is an independent site, not run by MEPCO. We write about bills, billing issues, and other stuff electricity consumers usually want to know. We keep it updated as best we can, but rules and rates change from MEPCO’s side sometimes without much notice, so if something needs to be official, go check with MEPCO directly.
Using the Site
Use it however you like as long as it is personal and legal. Do not mess with the site is functioning; try to break into parts you are not supposed to access or cause trouble for other people using it.
If you are using any bill-checking feature and typing in numbers, double-check them before hitting submit. One wrong digit and you’ll either get nothing back or the wrong account entirely.
Checking a Bill
You will usually need your reference number or consumer ID for this. Copy it exactly as printed on your bill—even a single missing digit throws the whole thing off.
If the result looks off, first recheck the number you entered. If there is an actual dispute about your account or bill, that is something only MEPCO can sort out, not us.
Also worth remembering: what shows up here is meant to help you not to replace your actual bill or your account record with MEPCO.
Accuracy
We try to keep things correct, but we won’t claim every page is updated the second something changes. MEPCO adjusts its rates, procedures, and rules on its own schedule, and we don’t always find out immediately. So before you make a payment or act on something based on what you read here, it’s worth confirming it’s still current.
About Payments
We don’t handle payments ourselves—not through banks, apps, or any payment service. If you pay through one of those elsewhere, hold on to your receipt or transaction ID. It’ll save you a headache if the payment doesn’t reflect right away or something goes sideways.
If your account got charged but the bill still shows unpaid, go to the payment service first. If that does not fix it, reach out to MEPCO’s support after.
Your Privacy
Be careful with what you share online, full stop. There’s never a good reason to hand over your password, OTP, or banking details to anyone who contacts you out of nowhere.
Also, if you click a link from here and land on some other website, remember that their privacy policy is theirs, not ours. Read it before you share anything.
Other Websites
Some of our pages link out to other sites. We do not run those and we are not responsible for what is on them. Just because we linked to something does not mean we are vouching for it—so be sure you trust a site yourself before entering payment info or personal details there.
When the Site Is Down
No website stays up 100% of the time and this one is not an exception. Maintenance, server hiccups or just bad internet on our end can take it offline for a bit. If that happens, give it some time and try again later.
Updates to Our Content
Articles and pages get changed whenever it makes sense — sometimes to add something new, sometimes to fix something outdated, sometimes just to explain things better. If you’re dealing with something important, always check the latest version of a page rather than relying on something you read a while back.
What You're Responsible For
However, you use the information here on you. Check your bill details carefully before submitting anything, and if there’s a real problem with your bill, meter, connection, or service, that is a conversation to have with MEPCO directly—not with us.
